The list below summarizes undergraduate cybersecurity options at Denver area four-year colleges and community colleges. If a school is not listed, it is because cybersecurity undergraduate degree information was not easily found online as of August 18, 2023.

University of Colorado - Boulder

University of Colorado - Colorado Springs (UCCS)

  • UCCS College of Engineering and Applied Science is a recognized leader in cybersecurity, with infrastructure and degrees to support depth in cybersecurity education and research.

Front Range Community College

  • FRCC offers:

  • Learn essential computer skills that help businesses thrive in our digital world. In FRCC's in-depth courses, you will learn the ins and outs of networking and cybersecurity. You'll learn from our expert professors and get face-to-face instruction in our small, in-person classes.

  • Students at Silver Creek High School can obtain an AAS in Cybersecurity concurrently with their high school diploma as part of the P-Tech program.

University of Colorado - Denver

  • UC Denver offers:

  • The cybersecurity bachelor of science degree prepares students for careers in online security with skills to defend computers, servers, mobile devices, electronic systems, networks, users and data from malicious attacks. Skills and experiences gained from the program will be immediately useful in today’s workforce where cybersecurity– cyber offense and defense– is a growing concern and necessity in both the public and private sector.  

Colorado State University

  • As with UC Boulder, there isn’t a specific cybersecurity undergraduate degree. However, students can obtain a BS in Computer Science with a focus on Network Security

Aims Community College

  • Aims CC offers:

Regis University

Metro State University

  • Metro State offers:

  • The B.S. in Cybersecurity is a social science based B.S. major, providing students with the knowledge and practical skills of computer crime, information systems solutions, proper seizure and recovery of computer evidence. Furthermore, the CYB program focuses on understanding criminal cyber-criminal behaviors, preventing cyber crimes, as well as understanding cyber laws governing prosecuting and punishing cybercriminals.
